The injections use a very fine needle and take only a few minutes. Most people describe a brief pinch rather than pain, and no anaesthetic is usually needed.
Typically three to four months. Results are not permanent because the muscle gradually regains movement, so treatment is repeated to maintain the effect.
Softening usually begins around day three to five, with the full effect at about two weeks. A review appointment can fine-tune the result if needed.
